Online instruction is a huge movement and more and more people are turning to the online world to do just about everything from yoga, to dance to daily exercise.

As a movement instructor you are paid when you are actively moving and connecting with students, but there reaches a point at which trading more of your time for income is just not possible.

Whether you have reached that point yet or not, it's worth exploring the idea of creating an online library of classes to create recurring income when you are not in the studio. And if you are a movement instructor already set up to teach live classes online, you most likely have just about all the equipment you need to begin creating videos for such a library.

This course will help you decide if an on-line video library is right for you, explain the benefits of creating recorded evergreen content, and give you three straightforward methods to get started.

You will learn what kind of content repurposes best, get several valuable tips on how to best utilize recorded content as well as a step-by-step guide on how to create that content in a variety of scenarios.

The course will walk you through the basic supplies that you need to get started recording ('s nothing fancy and you most likely already have it all!), discuss the music licensing required for this class format and show you how to edit the videos you create.

Once you have your first videos to share with the world, this course will walk you through a variety of options to house your video library and talk about best practices for organizing your content.

"Bravo! I think that anyone looking to start or expand online classes would benefit from this course, specially if looking at moving beyond Live Zoom classes into recorded content. "

Creating a online library of on-demand classes has revolutionized the way I work over the past nine years. It has allowed me to reach students all over the world, maintain connections with dancers I meet online and at out-of-town festivals as well as - and this one is a BIG one - choose the hours in which I work. (So very valuable for a work-from-home mom!)

If you are ready to take your online movement instruction business to the next level and create recorded content for recurring income so you can be paid while you are off doing other things, this is the course to get you started.

Well hello there, fabulous dancer! I'm Sahira. 👋🏽

I'm a life-long performer and have dedicated the last 21 years of my life to empowering others through the beautiful art of Belly Dance. I am a lifelong musician and head over heels crazy about the finger cymbals. I am a self-proclaimed technique and music geek, love anything to do with bunnies and could live off of spicy Szechwan food for the rest of my life.

I also direct the BellaDonna Dance Company, voted Houston ’s Best Belly Dancers by the Houston Press and am founder and director of Houston’s premiere Tribal Style troupe, Urban Hipsy.

I love belly dancing! Seriously… I did not ever set out to be a professional belly dancer, but since dedicating the last 21 years of my life to it, I cannot imagine doing anything else. I was an engineer by training before starting my first belly dance class – which just goes to show that anyone can learn this beautiful dance!

What I love best about teaching – and I’ve had the opportunity to work with students all over the world – is watching a student grow into their dance – from that first “ah-ha” moment, to seeing them dance with a confidence that they never thought they had. This dance is so wonderfully empowering and can be enjoyed by every body.

I look forward to sharing the dance floor with you soon!
